the rewards are for the grimoire to go onto to the screamer and herald unit and with 8 chances to get forwarning as each herald will roll on divination twice they should hopefully have a 2++ re rolling ones fateweaver is there for his warlord trait and his re roll per player turn and his psychic abilities. the horrors will prob deep strike in to enemy deployment zone to steal objectives and weaken the screamers targets.

Couple of things:

The Greater Locus of Change can't be used while you have an Exalted Locus in the same unit, so I'd drop it.

Two of your Heralds have the same gear, but are costed differently (the most expensive is costed correctly). So I added up all your units to see if it was a typo, but even with the correct cost I ended up with 1398, meaning you have some points to spend.


Then, on to tactics. I really think a Screamerstar list needs Daemon Princes (or some other work-horse units) to work. As it stands now, all I need to do, as your opponent, is to charge your Screamerstar with a Wraithknight, or a bunch of Necron Wraiths, or a sea of Gants, or an Iron Armed MC, or a Dreadnought, or whatever else I have at hand that the Star will take a while to chew through. Now the rest of my army can blow Fateweaver away to remove the last of your threats before getting rid of your scoring units, and there's nothing you can do about it.

If you drop 12 Horrors and the Greater Locus, you'll have 240 points to work with. That's still a bit short for a decent Daemon Prince, so you will have to drop a couple of Screamers as well. Alternatively, if you don't mind going away from the pure Tzeentch theme, you could get some Flesh Hounds, Seekers or Plague Drones. These units all have decent speed, so they can block the hard counters from charging your Star.

yea need to re do and no i only play pure tzeentch because i dont like a mixed chaos god army and tzeentch in my opinion is the best mono god and this was just little test list not sure if i was gonna do it really my mono tzeentch list i have is amazing and deals with all comers

This is a pretty bad ScreamerStar. You've spent too much on the star, which while making it much more reliable, left you with nothing else in your army. You've got three troops and not enough other threats to stop your opponent from evaporating them. Then you are left with the Star and no way to hold an objective. Also, you've got nothing besides Fateweaver to handle any Fliers.

Zagman clearly does not know a good list when he sees one . This is a very strong star list but at 1500 points is a little to heavy . Drop 1 of the heralds and a unit of horrors and put in a DP . The glif should give you plenty of chance to get the other troops you need . Or even consider a SG and make the 2 units of horrors bigger.

I never said it wasn't a Strong Star, and we've agreed on just about all points except I wouldn't have advised dropping horrors but the Portalglyph helps rememdy that problem.
