How will you play this list? I guess its gunline with some close combat backup with the flamers?

Certainly with 2 manticore I imagine you will mess someone up

The 30 man blob will protect a manticore on a flank and just lay out alot of fire and the flamers will help with anybody that gets close. The two lascannons will be in the middle of the board with the CCS to give them orders to take down any tanks monstrous creatures or just ignore cover, as well as laying down plasma fire. marbo is going to do his thing and the vets will come in and cause chaos deep striking the vets on to objectives. There is alot of strength 10 ten large blasts insta killing most anything they hit before they get to me haha.

hehe str 10 blasts indeed. I have only played up to 750 points as guard so I aint no expert.

In my area knowing how shooty all the armies are, I have found assault to be pretty hard to get into - pretty much never happens. Can the vets assault straight out of the vendetta or do they have to wait a turn?

They can assault, they just count as having moved. But I don't want them assaulting anyways. Stay away and shoot them down. The closest I want to get is 6 inches just got I can toss the demo charge
