My new attempt at ravenwing in a competitive manner. The stormchicken and tank commander should help to remedy some of the biggest problems with this army; hellturkeys and riptide+ML killing the banner unit. What can we do to tune this up further and make this into something truly scary?

Try dropping the last bike squad and 1 bike per add AB to each squad then try and add an ironclad or vulnerable in a pod it will count as a cheap anvil

There is no point in melta bombs on a thunder hammer equipped CM. 1 mb attack on rear armour or 5 concussive st8 attacks on rear armour? Use the 5 pts to give the tactical squad a flamer for when they depart the raven. This is extremely picky I know... OR drop the meltabombs and the hammer down to a fist, drop that 3 man bike squad and instead get a stormtalon for that extra bit of AA.

How would I win KP missions with such a set up? I would then be bringing an additional 5 KP that are attached to a T5 W2 model. I would also be giving up the ability to combat squad when needed. I am not dismissing the idea just thinking it through. I could actually see dropping the meltas on all the squads and the 3 man unit for the attack bikes. With the dakka banner the meltas are just can openers anyways.

Good catch. I just wasted the points and forgot I even had a open slot on the TAC squad. The storm talon idea is not a bad one. I probably won't do it due to me not particularly liking the model but it is definitely something to keep in mind.
