I must say I am intrigued by your list, plenty of MEQ killers. I might drop 1 body from of the thousand sons, in case you decide you'd rather infiltrate the havocs instead (perhaps to get close to some terminators or centurions and make the most of your rapid fire.) Infiltrate 18 inches away, drive 6, disembark 6 more, that is more than enough for rapid fire range. I might also be inclined to add a few more havocs so you can keep those plasma guns firing even after taking losses. Possibly combi on the havoc champion. You could maybe drop a 1kson from each squad (keeping in theme with your lucky #9) to pay for this extras.

You're right, having some bodies in the havoc squad would keep those guns firing as long as possible. It seems that you and I have the same ideas for the most part. Most of the time Ahriman outflanks with the Havocs and adds his (usually AP2) witchfires to the plasma, absolutely destroying most opponents' terminators. The outflank lets me have some control over where he arrives and how safe he is once he hops out to start pew pew protocol. Fateweaver's reroll helps me put him in the safest spot.

I'll shift some points around and see what I can do for the havocs to make them more resilient to enemy fire. Usually I can put the Chicken nearby or lots or Screamers in front of Ahriman during my shooting phase, but after his unit shoots.

I'll go play with it more

Oh and thanks!
