Hello Dakka another IG strategy question.

3 heavy support slots.
1 mantacore. 1 Exicutioner.
1 artillay battery.

Artillery options:
2 medusa, 2 collosus or 1 collosus and 1 griffin.

Which have you had more luck with Dakka? The colossus and medusa have both won me the game on multiple occasions.
The colossus being my favorite marine slayer is however very inaccurate. Does the griffin help this in Dakkas experience? Or does it actually hurt by making the blast usually "flip" to miss?

It depends on what you want.

2 medusa= great AT but more vulnerable,

2 colossi= great at killing MEQ, can indirect fire (therefore more durable), less potential killing power than the manticore but more reliability.

1 griffon/1 colossus= Nice and accurate, but really the two guns have 2 different target types. If you see a lot of 4+ infantry, you'd be better off with 2 griffons, if you see lots of MEQ then take 2 colossi. I on't really like mixing and matching in artillery, preferring to take 2 of the same or none at all.

Of the options above, my pick would be the griffons. You have anti-MEQ covered with the LR executioner, and AT covered with the manticore, so the only thing left is anti-infantry, at which the griffons excel.

forge world artillary carridge, x 9,

that is the most comp heavy slot, by FAR,
more durable then the vehicles, cheaper, and more damage

esp since you can issue the artillary orders to reroll hits/cover

You'll probably want some of those artillery carriages to be Medusa Siege Guns, though.

I would use the 2 colossi. I usually use 2 Basilisks, a Vanquisher and a Manticore. I use these because they don't have reasonably priced models for Colossi and Hydras, which is what I would use. I'm pretty sure I'm going to stop using the Vanquisher. It hasn't worked that well for me. Too inaccurate. One shot, 50/50 odds and cover saves dominate the game.
