Trigger-Happy Baal Predator Pilot






I got stuck on painting the gold on Archaon's shield (didn't feel my normal technique would work here) so I decided to try NMM gold.
I used an airbrush for most of the blends. Sorry for the horrible pics
Please tell me what you think! Any tips to improve the NMM are appreciated.




The model itself is 99% finished, any feedback on Archaon is appreciated as well

Looks very good for a first try (certainly better than my first NMM experiments). You have the right kinds of gradients and colour transition there. All I'd say is that it's a little bright, but aside from washes I have no idea how to do that without re-blending the whole thing. Hopefully someone more experienced will be able to help more. Again, good job so far.

Thanks a lot! That was my first thought as well, that it might have turned out a bit dark... might try darkening it a bit!

as my friends rightfully pointed out; his sword came out looking like the German flag. Gonna have to fix that hehe
