I have been doing a lot of thinking lately since I haven't been doing much and have been pretty bored in school so while I was thinking an idea came up that since the zoo is such a cheap and points efficient deathstar i could probably get another deathstar in there and still do a good if not better impact on my enemy so here is my glorious (or horrendous ) idea.
HQ
Jetseer
Spear
Jetseer
Spear
8 Jetlocks
3 Spears
TROOPS
5 DA
WS w/ TL SL, Shurican, Holofields
5 DA
WS w/ TL SL, Shurican, Holofields
HQ
Baron
TROOPS
5 Kabbies
Venom w/ Dual Splinter Cannons, NS, Trophies
5 Kabbies
Venom w/ Dual Splinter Cannons, NS, Trophies
FAST ATTACK
Beast Pack
5 Beastmasters
15 Khymerae
4 Razorwings
HEAVY SUPPORT
Ravager
NS, Trophies
Tactics are very much the same from before
Jetseers go for fortune, then invisibility or vise versa if the board is terrain heavy, whatever seer gets those powers goes with the beast pack and the other goes with the council since it is already durable enough. The Trophies are there to help the jetseers and jetlocks with their psy tests incase they ever goof up.
This rendition of my previous list is much more light on troops which is my main worry because 2 WS and 2 venoms arent that hard to take out in a full game but hopefully the enemy will be distracted by the council and beasts that they wont think to focus the things that are actually winning me the game.
Thoughts? I'm curious to know if this could actually be viable in a competitive environment.

You look to be lacking an answer to heavy armor. Maybe drop 2 or 3 Jetlocks for a Fire Prisme, a second Ravager, a Razorwing Jetfighter or a squad of Blasterborne?
Everything else is beautiful. I love the choices you made here.

Well, two would-be death stars is too much. I'd go for one of it and spend the rest on troops and HS.

Well I do have a decent amount of s9 sbooting via singing spears for any real tank like a LR or av13+. I know the ravager is also great at AT but its very squishy. Otherwise there are wave serpents for normal tanks. I wou ld have thought that thus would be enough bit I guess not.
I might just scrap the idea then if this is the case since in order to do take any more strong AT I habe to sacrafice quit a bit

If you get very hot on psychic rolls this becomes pretty beastly having two very large 4++ or 2++ units with rerollable saves is better than any other army.
The problem becomes what is the combo adding that having one of them doesn't, most of the time you will want to have fortune with the warlocks because the thing that makes them unkillable isn't the 2+ armor 2+ cover but the fact that its rerollable, changing the odds from 1/6 to 1/36 is a huge deal. 2+ save can been weight of fired 2+ rerollable cannot.
The other point is the threats to the eldar/de deathstar list in either the warlock or beastpack flavor are flyers and high AV, neither deathstar addresses this so adding a 2nd one makes you very top heavy, you need to take warp spiders, or wraithknights to take out either air or AV to have a more TAC list. the extra 300-400 points you gain from dropping one of the death starts allows you to take a wraithknight and warpspider with tweaking which is what I would do.

You have some very good ideas tiber
I think I will stick to just my beastpack like I previously had done before since it is quite clear that this is a very rock paper scissors list and can be countered easily by cron air and other air heavy lists.

There are alot of Good builds that work with both stars.
For WS spam with DE/Eldar warlock council look to Labmouses nova list.
For a beastpack it actually allows you alot more variety for two reasons, you don't need rerolls from grisly trophies therefore you don't need multiple venoms and you don't really need both farseers, as fortune will not make or break the army, it will certainly help but losing models in the beastpack will not hurt nearly as much as losing models in the coucil.
Council lists require 3-4 sources of grisly trophies which forces a DE heavy build 2-3 venoms and 1 ravager with trophies, which leaves little room for WS spam. My current 1750 list is
2x farseer jetbikes shard on one
8x warlock jetbikes
baron
2x venom warriors upgrades
1x venom truebornx4 blaster upgrades
ravager disintigrators upgrades
3x jetbikes
6x jetbikes 2x cannons
1x wraithknight.
Having the beastpack i would go with an entirely different build there is a poster here I don't have the time to look it up but he ran a DE/Eldar tournoment list with eldar heavy that looked very good.
1850
farseer on foot
spiritseer on foot
5x wraithguard serpent upgrades
5x DA serpent upgrades
wraithknight
warwalkers
support batteries
3x jetbikes
3x jetbikes
venom
baron
beast pack
12x khymare
2x razorwing
I think the trick with the beastpack is that you don't have to run super DE heavy to make it work and I would take advantage of that.
I also thing that while WS spam is nice and good to be able to take the top competative lists eldar are going to have to shift to multi threat units. Warp spiders, wraithknights, large jetbike units are all contenders for the points that I personally think allow an Eldar player different tactial abilites that WS spam doesn't
My current 1750 list for my league is this, but it changes every week
Baron
Warriors in venom with upgrade
1x warlock on bike
farseer on bike with shard
spiritseer
10x jetbike 3x cannon
5x d-sycthe wraithguard WS upgrades
5x DA WS upgrades
10x warp spiders exarch fast shot spinnaret
wraithknight
Last week it had 2 less warp spiders 1 less jetbike no dark eldar and 2 wraithknights 1 with suncannon/scatter laser and worked very well against new iron hands space marines.
For tournaments it going to be a balancing act to try to find the right fit between the list I put up, WS spam with council, warp spider and council or a beastpack supported by WS or warp spiders/wraithknight.
In the end it comes down to can this list compete with Necron/CSM or pure necron Flyer spam, and even with warpspiders I'm not sure we can, Since the troops are going to be safe from the council/beastpack sitting up in the scythes were at a serious disadvantage. I guess I haven't fully tested if 4 WS can take down 4 scythes with a helldrake but i highly doubt that is a good matchup either.
