So I have been painting for a while and have never really used decals before (gw or any other)

Someone at my FLGS told me about micro sol and micro set. I purchased both of them.

Could someone give me the steps/process of properly placing decals. Especially on marine shoulder pads.

I am confused by the directons on the back as the wording is terrible.

Someone told me about painting gloss on first. I have the old gw ard' coat. Will that work? It seems thick (as may be with age) should I water this down first?

Thanks!

Generally pretty well received, and a good summary of lots of other people's information.

With the thick 'ard coat, yes water it down. You want the surface to be smooth and shiny before you put the deal on. Two thin smooth coats are better than one thick lumpy one,
