I can understand the latter position, but Mierce did what it could to minimise peoples losses (where they had NO legal obligation to do so) by supply the outstanding Mierce parts of peoples orders. I think people deserve a second chance, and the KS1 fulfilment shows they are making the most of it
Lots of people lost a lot of money when Maelstrom continued to lie to them with an endless chain of 20%-OFF WAREHOUSE-MOVING-SALE promotions when they were clearly not ordering in new stock or getting in stock to fulfil orders that had been taken and paid for, in some cases months before. They were in a Death Spiral before Wayland put the final bullet in.
If Rob Lane's carefully spun-off business had offered Mierce-credit to the
many people who were ripped off by Maelstrom, then I'd be onboard with all of the forgiveness talk. The Mierce fulfilment was carefully done with the sole reason to help salvage the reputation of the fledgling company and try to buy some goodwill back - though
that stuff was also paid for to Lane and co.
If Beasts of War make an informed decision not to support Mierce (and they would be as informed as
anyone of
exactly what happened), then you should respect that choice instead of expecting them to get over it. It hasn't even been a year, after all.
Automatically Appended Next Post: I'll just add this - you'll notice I'm NOT active in the Mierce
KS thread, gaking up the place by reminding people of their recent actions. It could very well have been otherwise, but I've been letting that thread rest for a long time now. My post here is also quite matter-of-fact.
Please bear this in mind before making replies that are also attacks.
