I hope this doesn't happen till 2014! Otherwise I don't expect to be a part of it. Really been looking into converting my own aliens for a while.

What was the Warzone kickstarter like? Were there lots of kickstarter exclusive minis? Or was everything unlocked going to see a full release?

The xenomorphs are also bigger then humans. At least in the first alien.

Don't forget Aliens: Colonial Marines, that's official canon as well now.

Except that that never happened. Ever. Are we clear?
Too late for that sadly, though in between the gak there were some good parts.

The trailer for the game?

That said, considering that a little tweaking might allow said figures to be used in other games, which could be a financial boon, I wouldn't fault them for a little tweaking either.

Assuming the models are 28mm scale, and therefore Predators should be 33mm or so, and they instead make Predators shorter at 28mm so the one guy who would buy them as Ork proxies will be happy, then I'll just buy Predastore Predators instead. Pretty simple.

I would suggest that this is a strong enough license to not need to worry about being another companies proxie.

If you really want your IP to stand out then don't impair your designs by trying to fit someone else's IP.

This is a range I am very excited about. I hope it will stand by the strengths of it IP.

Who said it will be as soon as that? There might not be any sign of release/KS untill the new year!

Unfortunately no, but AVP rules covering aspects like : "Making your own Hero/Heroes" (you can Named them and Equipped as you want ;] )

So no Apone, Hicks, Hudson, Vasquez, etc sculpts?

If not specifically due to likeness rights and fees, perhaps we'll just get generic gruff cigar chewin' black sergeant, cowardly caucasian trooper, and latina with a big machine gun minis... or maybe they'll mix up some of the details like with the horrorclix AVP minis and the female human mini they had.

Those could all possibly come under a different license? The individual alien and predator license are possibly separate to the AVP one.

Well. I don't mind just getting the minis to use as alternatives for space hulk. I would certainly be more likely to get more people playing.
