Using the Eldar as CC troops and the DE as long range and support. Looks like a solid, if rather unvaried list.
Might have gone a bit over the top on the Grisly Trophies but 35 points isn't a lot to get more units with.
Just wondering if this is going to be viable or not. I have pretty much no anti air.
I could get rid of one squad of Wraithblades and swap them out for a couple of squads of Wyches in Venom's. That might work a bit better?
Anyone have any suggestions, I have all the Dark Eldar parts but I really want some Eldar allies for the Spiritseers Psychic Abilities...

You could do away with the nightshields on the venoms, as blasters have an 18" range themselves, so bolters and their equivalents will still be in range of you. Same with the Ravagers I think; the weapons you'll be up against all have over 42" range, so even staying your furthest away, they'll still be viable targets. Just keep the Ravs away from troops and you'll be fine there.
One thing I've learnt is that the less upgrades taken on DE the better, you need more bodies (and consequently more shots) than fancy gizmos that don't do a great deal. Besides, don't these only take effect within 6" range? Not where you want to be if you're not assaulting! Which you have no busienss doing with your DE as you have no combat troops!
Why not drop a Ravager, the nightshields, the grisly trophies, and get a Razorwing? You have 10 points to play with then, can't think what would be useful on the DE list with that, maybe an upgrade for your Spirit Seer ? No idea there, I don't own the Eldar dex.
Hope this helps!

I'm not sure if you understand how Nightshields work Kitch. They will take off 6" off everything, including rapid fire. So a 24" weapon is treated as 18".
You need Nightshields on everything. For the points, NS do a wonderful job. Yes the blasters' range mean that the thing you are shooting at is shooting back, but it can save you from other shooting stuff, meaning your venoms might survive one more turn.
The ravagers is a whole another issue. Yes big guns you are up against might have 48" range. But think about the probability of night fighting, 50? Your opponent will go mad when they find out that their big 48" gun have only 30" range against your ravagers plus you can shoot them back from where you sit.
Anyways I see that you have no intention of dropping NS anyways.
As for Wyches, the only purpose I see them serving in a list like this is either tarpitting and distraction. I think you have enough AT so the haywire suicide squad might not be needed but they could be a great distraction like I said.
Can't really comment on the wraiths as I've yet to try them out myself.

No, I'm pretty sure my understanding of NS's is right. A boltgun has a 24" range. If targetting a vehicle that has a NS, the boltguns range is reduced to 18".
Reference my last post, Shingen would have to get to be within 18" anyway, which would still be inside of the boltguns (reduced) range.
As for rapid fire, half distance would be worked out based on half of the weapons "new" max range. So rapid fire range for a bolter would be 9" instead of 12". A pulse rifles rapid fire would 12" instead of 15".
Having re-read your post, it seems to me that we're saying the same thing, just using different phrasing. Do you agree?

Yep I agree, we are saying the same thing now that I've re-read your first post. I think what's messed up with my mind is this: Besides, don't these only take effect within 6" range?
Anyways I think Nightshields is an awesome tool if used right and well worth the 10 points.

As you said I would have to be within 18", however that's only on my turn. On his turn I would just need to make sure I'm position correct so he can shoot me but I can shoot my target next turn.

How would you do that without having jsj? Either you're in range, shoot and get shot at, OR you're out of range, don't shoot and don't get shot at.
It would work with splinter rifles vs bolters for instance, though not when you have less than 24" range.
