At our local 40k community my friends had a 3 way, small point battle. There was a librarian, some space marine guy, and old zogwart. They were all in assault and old zogwart turned the space marine guy into a squig!!! Old Zogwart had one wound left. The squig then attacked old zogwart and got a 6 to hit, 6 to wound and then zogwart failed his save!!! Total humiliation!!! Turned into a squig and then killed by it!!! Funniest thing i've ever seen at our 40k community.

So have there ever been any funny things happen at your local 40k community?

On a squiggy note ...

Ork vs ork battle. Zogwort turns ghaz into a squig, who then eats him, breaks the unit and runs them down

Also one time vs BA my SAGmek warlord misfired when trying to plug Mephiston and teleported into CC instead. I groan, as i see Slay the Warlord being given on a plate to the smug git i was playing. He rolls to bump off the poor guy, and only hits once, failing to wound. Big mek then backhands Mephy to death with his PK, all the while still packing the SAG over his shoulder...

Opponent looks at me, stunned, and starts to laugh his ass off at the mental image of the situation as It unfolded.

Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high

I played a game against demons, the game was ending most likely on turn six, i had two models left on the field, a predator, and a lone scout.

THis lone scout was in assault with two plague drones of nurgle, both had two wounds.

On his turn, the scout survives, and fails to wound back.
On MY turn, he hits on a 4+ with his 1 attack, wounds on a 5+, the drone fails its 5++, and dies, the second fails to hit him back, and then fails its leadership, and vanishes back into the warp.
I then needed to consolidate six inches onto the objective to win...roll a six, and then the game ends.

Statistical odds of this happening? Somewhere like 1/300. He has kill markings now
