... The Shoulder pads, for an Interrogator Chaplain in Terminator Armour; what icons should they have? A crux for being in terminator armour, a skull for being a chaplain, dark angel chapter icon.... Which two?

It should have a crux terminatus on the one shoulder, and the DA chapter icon on the other. Your chaplain should have a skull helmet if he's worth his progenoid glands anyway.

Thanks. Oh he does have skull helmet, Its a kitbash I'm working on, and got kinda stumped on what I was supposed to put on the shoulders.

So far he's made from, the Terminator legs from the Darkangel chapter upgrades sprue, a Deathwing Knight torso, and the knight champions flail handle combined with a little robed figure holding a scythe from the Dark Angel upgrades to make the crozius, and the deathwing sgt's left handed storm bolter arm.
A Chaos marine skull helmet with the little arrow shaved off, and on top the flash light thingy from the terminator apothecary.
I feel that he needs a book or a scroll of some sort to really be an Interrogator Chaplain over a regular Chaplain. Its the list of the fallen or something along that lines?
edit; although a regular chappy is not allowed terminator armour in the DA codex... so that alone makes it a give away hehe

If you posted a picture of your WIP, I could give you suggestions on where to put a book or scroll to convey the "list"

How about a crux with a skull in the center and then the DA symbol on the other shoulder.

Being as I have a piccy up, what do you think to this model as an Interrogator Chaplain? (bearing in mind he has no pads yet, and will probably get some bits n bobs added from the big piles of detailing bits Ive got)

Also when it comes to paint... again do I go black because he's a Chaplain? or off white Because the Deathwing possess all the TDA suits?

Black armor, bone white shoulderpad on his right showing his affiliation to the Deathwing, plus I'd paint the robes in green to show his DA affiliation. His other shoulderpad (the one holding the stormbolter) should be black and with the Crux Terminatus on it.

Cool Thanks, The robes will actually be purple My Dark Angels have an alternate pallet of purple, yellow, bone white and black.
Where power armour is purple, with yellow pad trims
Ravenwing vehicles are black, but not pilots or riders (theyre purple)
Deathwing is bone white
and all weapon casings are yellow.
Its a tad Hawk Lords, but subtly different ... Have no successor chapter name for them.. just fancied a change and rotated the green/red around the colour wheel to get purple/yellow.
I'm currently stripping paint from all of my terminators, and dreadnoughts to be redone though. Plan to airbrush the off white rather than brush layering as it was taking far too many hours per model because of white being white.

Thanks for all the info on the specifics of colours, and pad icons, I was a bit stumped, couldnt find much info on this in my DA codex.
