Subject: Mumakil Square Base Help

Hi
I am a Warhammer Fantasy player, and I have a great respect for the Lord of the Rings figures, many of them are gorgeous, and thus I tend to transfer them to square bases and use them for counts as.
I've done so mainly with large models (Such as the Watcher in the Water) and find the largest ones generally fit on a 100mm by 150mm base
The big problem though is that the Mumakil is far bigger than they all are 95mmx120mm for the others and the Mumakil base is 140x180
So I need to make a base for it, usually I buy movement trays online, but I don't know quite how to translate.
So anyone who owns a Mumakil, might I ask how big do I need to buy ot make a good base? I'm thinking 150mm by 250mm, but I'm not sure if that's big enough, or for that matter if that's too excessive
Thanks
Murdock

You stated the base size. Get close to that. You need 140mm by 180mm. So 150mm by 200mm should do the trick nicely
Get two monster bases side by side to get 150 by 200 and there you have it
Or you could get a thin piece of card and outline a 140 by 180 area and use lots of different shapes to create the same size base like this polygon puzzles.
Your choice
Hope that helps

After a thousand insults to your favourite game, one only sees people saying that your game should be gotten rid of.(Imagine this being said in the DOW chaos predator voice.)
