Hey All, we all know of anvil industries and their exceptional marine proxies, and the various other companies making 40k proxies, but are there any decent ones for tau??

The thing is, my brother who i get along with very well, played during the 3rd and 4th edition days, he's contemplating getting back into the hobby, but once he checked the prices of GM and forgeworld, he's skeptical. The problem is that i really want moar people to play the hobby with, because inviting people over for a game can get irritating from time to time, and my sister in law, has not yet completed her space wolves.

So, to sum up, are there any good proxies for tau? Unless i'll have to go for ebay, or pig iron's futuristic soldiers as Gue'Vesa

There may be some modern SciFi humans, but rarely something similar to Tau and none cheaper.
There is no way denying that 40k is an expensive hobby. Maybe try ebay for cheap deals.
