I have a quick question about repeater pistols in melee,

If I am using a repeater pistol in melee is it considered "firing in melee* or am I Clubbing with it ?

* because in the empire rulebook states "unlike most other weapons, a repeater pistol can be used as both a missile weapon and a close combat weapon.

* If i am using it as an additional hand weapon Gun Fu style (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_Vl67brJjM) then it would have its own stat line as a weapon, which means that I gain three extra attacks and armour peircing but at strength 4 ?

* If I take a brace of repeater pistols that would mean I would gain 6 attacks and armour piercing albeit it at str 4 ?

This affects me as I'm putting a campaign together where each player gets a single "king" unit that can equip weapons armour D&D style

Meo,

Misdirection is the key to survival never attack when your enemy defends never behave as your enemy expects and never reveal your true strength if knowldge is power then to be unknown is to be unconquerable
