Eternal Plague

For those interested, this will be an article used to create fictional (or share real-inspired stories) of those who work for the government during these trying times of inept politicians tossing the political football around in trying to either support/destroy the institutions that help run the United States.

In theory, this could be a wide ranging basis for any story imaginable with Warhammer being focused into an office (or Office) themed story. Or ya know, venting about what your office or government job is like with a Warhammer spin on it. Horus could be a disgruntled but favored VP of the Emperor in your story. Blood Angels could be very diligent paper pushers if not for their homicidal rage. Dark Angels and the Unfogiven could very well sit in cubicles next to one another, the tension so thick you could slice it with a lascannon.

The potential is boundless (within bureaucratic red tape of course!).

I disagree with your breakdown of the factions. The way I see it the ideologues from the two opposing U.S. camps have gone in extreme directions since WWII. In essence the Republican/Conservatives have become ultra Fascist Nazi types, while the Democratic/liberals have become ultra Fascist Communist types. Both parties give the message of: do it our way or DIE!

So in essence your paperhammer factions would be the Republicrons who run the Imperial Military-Industrial Complex, torture detainees and build massive space weapons platforms while wasting taxpayer time and money. The opposing faction is the Democratic Administratum who keeps the population in chains, dependant on their odd forms of government reliance and spreads the Imperial Religion, Emprah worship, while wasting taxpayer time and money. A third faction is rising to overthrow the previous two, it will be painted as Chaos, but in reality is most like the Eldar. The third faction just wants to be left alone.

By your paperhammer concept I get the feeling you really like our overlords in Washington especially the left leaning ones, so I just wanted to thank you for spreading the Emprah's light.

Have a nice day.
