I somehow missed the update a few days ago announcing this (I backed Jane Jensen's Moebius KS project), but for those who don't already know, there's a remake of Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers coming in 2014. I enjoyed Cognition (a game which Jane Jensen was the story consultant on) and am looking forward to Moebius.
But a remake of GK1, with the potential for an all new GK game if it does well enough? Well, in the immortal words of Jayne Cobb:
