If I take a SC that has a predetermined Warlord Trait, does he have to be my warlord?

For example, I field an Iyanden Eldar army, using the supplement. If I want to take Prince Yriel, does he have to be my warlord, or can I make my Wraithknight my warlord?

No, unless he is the only capable model.

That way,then left

Those characters just always have those traits IF they are the warlord. Some of those characters HAVE to be your warlord though (Asurmen) so watch out for that.

Armageddon, Pry System, Armageddon Sector, Armageddon Sub-sector, Segmentum Solar.

Unless the sc is the only hq or has a rule stating that they must be your warlord like calgar or abadon then no.

Or unless he has a rule that says he has to be your Warlord, as is the case with Azrael.
