So neither of these lists are ultra competitive (as dakkarites confident enough to answer I know you already realise this) but I want to know which you think will work better TAC wise...
So the premise is to include what I personally consider the two most fun units in the BA codex after death co: the death co dread and the furioso, both with talons. The problem with both is deployment. Walking them makes them go boom. Dropping them means a useful melta gun and potentially magna grapple shot then... they go boom. A raven is the most reliable way of deploying them but even so it is not fantastically effective. The extra problem with the death co dread is that for two you must take 10 death co. Now you have to consider how to deploy these. Jump packs - too expensive, raider - means you tend to build a mch list around it to take advantage of av14 tanking lots of anti tank shots, drop pod means you building a few pods to make sure the death co are supported...Therefore by taking 2 death co dreads you end up building a list around them. So anyway here is my attempt:

List A (Lawnmower man)

Librarian (with an assault squad)
Force axe, divination (for presience on dreads)

3 x 5 assault marines
Melta gun
Pod (2nd wave)

10 sternguard (combat squad on deployment)
10 combi-melta
Pod (1st wave)

10 death company
Powerfist
