Hello, this is my first finished mini in a long time. Not painted for about 10 years when I last gamed. This model, being fine cast was probably not the most enjoyable to paint. The feet were quite badly damaged and barely looked like feet, so I've combatted that by using a wet muddy base to make it feel as though it's sinking in.

The base is something I enjoyed doing as I feel it came out well

I appreciate the pictures are not amazing, they were taken with my iPad as I'm awaiting a decent camera, so apologies. Please do feel free to comment and give me advice on how to progress. There are a few things I already know I need to do but it's always nice to get an outside view.

My plan is to paint for fun and sell these, not for a profit but just to fund my painting and buy more models, so any tips on this would be appreciated. I just enjoy painting!

Just had another look at the images and they are not the best but do what you can

Excellent start and clean work!

In particular, the wounds are beautifully done. They look new and inflamed, like they keep tearing open or are infected - that's how you do wounds.

One bit of constructive criticism.... it looks like the nails are the same color as the flesh... while typically on humans this is the case, with monstrous creatures it's often a good place to get some contrast going.

I'd also like a touch more shading on the hands (knuckle area), and arm muscles, but that's just me.

Overall, great job, keep itup !

I mean, it's Dakka. I thought snide arguments from emotion were what we did here.
