Hey all was hoping I could get some help with this Eldar list Im putting together.
HQ
Spirit seer
Troops
5 Wraithguard with d-scythe in wave serpent with twin-linked scatter laser, shuriken cannon and holo-fields
5 Wraithguard with d-scythe in wave serpent with twin-linked scatter laser, shuriken cannon and holo-fields
10 Wraithguard
10 Guardians in wave serpent with twin-linked scatter laser, shuriken cannon and holo-fields
10 Guardians in wave serpent with twin-linked scatter laser, shuriken cannon and holo-fields
10 Rangers
Heavy
Wraithlord with 2 bright lances, 2 flamers and wraithsword
Wraithlord with 2 bright lances, 2 flamers and wraithsword
Wraithlord with 2 bright lances, 2 flamers and wraithsword
So my plan was to have the rangers sit backfield and hold an objective and the wave serpents would move up and try to turn one flank. Mean while my big unit of wraithguard and wraithlords would move up behind them. Not sure if I should swap out the big unit of wraithguard for wraithblades and if so what type should I use? Any thoughts would be great.

Where is the spiritseer going to sit?

You sought to cower behind your walls, weakling? Instead, by the will of Khorne, you shall die behind them |

Was planning on having him sit with the big wraithguard unit so he could give the wraithlords and them battle focus

Well, it's a nice list. I really like it, but just one squad of Wraithguard on foot could be squishy with the warlord in there. Only a could though! You could drop a squad of guardians and the rangers, give the guardians serpent to one squad of 5 and use the spare points for a serpent for the other squad? Or use the points for a second spirit seer and give him the iyanden wraith forge stone to heal your lords. If you go with the latter option the. I would upgrade to blades with axes. It means your warlord can sit in a squad of T6 with 3+ and 4++ making him hard to kill. You could also take the guardian helm from the iyanden book to make him even tougher to drop. That's what I do anyway, but it will drop your model count by quite a bit. The second seer can sit in a serpent with a squad and can shoot forward for the ability to spirit mark. Are you running the iyanden dex?

What about making it a 5 man squad and giving them a wave serpent instead? And yes I was planning iyanden dex. Thanks for the advice so far

If your plan is wave serpents and wraiths, then the rangers and guardians are a superfluous waste of points.
Splitting the large wraith squad into two and cramming them in the serpents presently holding the guardians gives four hard hitting troop choices with serpents and the seer to power up one of the squads. Pulling the guardians and reducing the rangers too five models gives you better options. You can take another seer to ride with the wraiths making sure both non template squads can use his rerolls.
This either should take you closer to 2000 points or give you a decent point cushion to potentially upgrade a WL to a WK or add some other popular units like a small bike squad or a warp spider harasser unit.
