I live in Worthing and there are two local clubs that I go to.

One is Worthing Overlords held in the function room of the Victoria Hotel opposite Worthing Central Station. It is held on Tuesday nights from around 6pm - 11pm. It is £1 per night to play but only if you get a game in.

The other is South Downs Siegebreakers held at the Moon Pub in Storrington from again around 6pm - 11pm. Also held on Tuesday nights unfortunately. It is £2 per night to play but only if you get a game in.

Both clubs provide tables and scenery (all you need is armies, rulebooks, codexes, templates and dice).

I enjoy going to both clubs as there are different guys going to each but I find if you are looking for a more competitive game Overlords would be the best place to go as the club tends to attract more players who are preparing for tournaments. That being said, it is still possible to get friendly games there, you just need to let your opponent know in advance what you are looking to get out of the game.

Both clubs are on Facebook under Worthing Overlords and SDS 1st Company Veterans respectively.

Both clubs attract between 8-12 players a night on average but sometimes up to 20 on a busy night. It is mostly 40K being played on most nights, but warhammer fantasy is also played and a selection of other games such as Kings of War and card games as well.
