I'm trying to come up with a good all around list for my Eldar for about 1500 pts for fun at the FLGS / club.

Here is what I've come up with so far.

1 x Jetseer

1 x Windrider squad with 1xSC

5 x Dire Avengers in a WS with HF, 2xSL & SC
5 x Dire Avengers in a WS with HF, 2xSL & SC
5 x Dire Avengers in a WS with HF, 2xSL & SC

5 x Fire Dragons in a WS with HF, 2xSL & SC

3 x War Walkers with 2xBL

2 x Fire Prisms with HF

That comes to 1496 if my math is correct.

Optionally If there are going to be fliers around I'd drop the Fire Prisims and instead take

1 x CH

1 x Guardian Defender squad with either a SL or a BL as a base camper group ie. the nearest objective.

With this alteration it makes the list 1486.

Let me know what you think of this as it is as well as things to change around as I get some more of the new models.

Very spammy, but very very tough. People won't enjoy playing it! I'd debate your need to switch if fliers turn up? With guide and prescience on the serpents and the walkers you should drop most fliers!

Not usually a fan of 5 man DA squads but I really like the first list thats alotta av for 1500. Yes fliers could be problematic but I still prefer list 1 without the CH

Do you consider this list too much for a get to know a new group of people at a different FLGS?

If so what should be changed to make it more of a friendly list?

Honestly that's your call whether your list is fun to play or not. I run two wraithknights and everyone says they enjoy playing me. I believe it's just up to how you play on field.

One I don't be a dick with my knights they do their job and contest objectives and that's it.

I try to makes games fair when I play. IE if I'm about to table my opponent and they fail a reserve roll I tell them to bring everything in. 9/10 it's not going to make a difference besides looking like the good guy and being a resonable opponent.
