Two units in CC, first Player A issues a challenge the Player B declines the challenge. Next turn player B has another unit charge into the ongoing melee, can the IC from this new unit issue a challenge to Player A's IC?

Anything to back up your opinion? The reason I ask is, this happened in a game of mine last night (I was player B). A argued against me issuing a challenge with a second unit, and we couldnt find anything in BRB that said I could or couldn't.

Was there a challenge going on? No
Can a challenge therefore be isuses? Yes

Thats all that is needed.

It really depends on how you read pg 64.

"only 1 challenge can be issued per CC"

I know people who will argue that this will allow for only 1 challenge to be issued, accepted or not and prevent any others from being issued.

Which falls by the wayside given the other FAQ entries on the topic.

It, in context, refers to round of CC.

A challenge can be issued each round of combat. If you do it any other way, it results in unfair bonuses for refusing challenges once you get to round 2.

1. Can you point me to this faq?

2. It's not my argument, I'll play it either way depending on how my opponent reads it.

3. your accepting context now? Does context only matter for this discussion or all discussions?

To answer question 3 - yes, I "accept" context, something you are unable to do it seems.

Somewhere around fenris

its a tricky one

there is a maximum of 1 challenge per ccb if some 1 declines the next ccb fase a new challenge can be made

to quote pg 64 3th block on the left:
"once one challenge has been made no further challenge can be issued in that combat whilst the previous challenge is ongoing"

No, not "If I say so", provably so , in multiple threads. For years now. Your snide remarks are not welcome.

Sure you can find them.
