So I'm moving Duty Stations for the Army, and so I want to start a new FoW army as a result. I'm stuck as to which army want to build. I currently have a Brit INF list and an Irish Guards list.

The choices:
German Late War- Either Mech INF or Armoured
Brit Late War - Not sure where I want to go here, but I'd really like to incorporate some Cromwells or Stuart's.
American- Mech INF to represent the unit I'm currently in who fought in: Northern France Rhineland Ardennes-Alsace Central Europe

and were awarded:
Presidential Unit Citation (Army) for ST. VITH
Belgian Fourragere 1940
Cited in the Order of the Day of the Belgian Army for action in the ARDENNES
Cited in the Order of the Day of the Belgian Army for action at ST. VITH

Like I said I'd like to build a new army and have a couple of options. Price really isn't an issue, but as with most things hobbying "cheaper is better".
I know you guys are going to have great input about play style, adaptability, level of play etc.

Also an option that I'm open to would be diving into a new time period or front i.e. Arab-Isreali, Vietnam, Japanese

If you go German, you could always have a force for a buddy to play. Both flavors you listed work well and have excellent cheap Plastic Soldier Company options if you want to keep the vehicle prices more reasonable.

After looking through a couple of lists and talking to a few people, I really like the idea of the German Mech. Seems like a very versatile army. Also look forward to the challenge of learning how to be successful with something outside of armour.
