Can CSM aspiring champion can take icons of chaos? The 6e codex says "one model in the unit may purchase one of the following icons..." but I've never seen it modeled and as far as I'm aware it hasn't been covered in FAQ. What do people think?

You can do it RAW but there is a problem of loading all your eggs in one basket.

Short answer is yes. but as said it can be problematic. for instance, if the champion becomes a spawn or DP.
