So still quite new at fantasy but have had some success with my daemons. Here is a list of what I own now...

i need to make a 2k pt list, uncomped as well!. I am really liking the slaanesh lore (cacophonic chior is very good against hordes for random movement and armour as no armour saves!). I am thinking this list

This leaves me no chaff and most of my points tied up in one unit no points for wings on the prince as taking exalted reward for Chromatic tome. Thoughts on this list?, three wizards and my only anti 1+ armour being magic (and skull cannon) I do need the tome to re roll the winds of magic dice I think in this list.

Does MSU work for deamons? I could drop the nurgle herald for another tzeentch herald on disc, drop the plague bearers to 10 each (or swap a few out for horrors)

I just dont think i am good enough to be able to use a MSU army, I can see the tactical thoughts and reasons in my head but playing it is another matter :(

Nurgle is easily the best lore, slaanesh is very situational.
You will live and die by your magic though, but that is how the book is written
(ie, lose your ward save and suck in the magic phase bc you rolled a 4)
Lore of shadow is really good however
Flesh hounds are chaff on steroids.

GUO lvl4 or lvl3 and a gift. I guess you could do a DP, but they have a hard time surviving

36-40 PB FC banner of movement
Lone beasts for chaff 1-3
Units of 5-6 hounds to come in and charge flank or rear
Flame cannon, to deal with nasties
