The d lord goes into the praetorians and the wraiths triarch and scarabs surge forward while the flame does infiltrate into the enemy and causes a distraction and try to get into combat .

I don't feel this list at all sorry buddy the synergy feels wrong.

Drop the 10 man immortal units, the flayed ones and the scarabs

Get 2 Units of 5 warriors with a Nightscythes
6 x wraiths - 1 whip coil

That's my advice

Your list seems like mobile army's would just run rings around your cc units and focus down your troops but who knows try it and let us know how it went.

Have a look at Imperial armour 12's dark harvest list. Flayed ones as troops, rending scarabs, fear causing lords. You can get a better close combat list from it than the normal necron codex

Wow, I took a look at that list after seeing this post, and I gotta say any list designed to "amplify the idea of the Necrons as a tireless horde of implacable killing machines, covered in the ash and blood of their victims" (ie, Oldcrons) is right up my alley

Just wish they could take C'Tan. Those things are so damn cool. Would absolutely swap out this army for the standard dex if that were the case.

Yeah the lack of C'tan does put you off, but the tomb stalker and sentinel replace the C'tan for the high toughness MC Niche, and poisoned weapons don't work on them

I have used this list with flayed ones as troops to some effect, they are still susceptible to sweeping advance, as most things get to hit you first. The other good part of this list is the lord Kutlahk, He is fearless
20 blob of flayed ones that are fearless, or a 20 blob of warriors, with a lord with res orb, fearless and can charge after shooting their rapid fire weapons, its gooooooooooood.
