Hey Fellas,
I got a box of these figs last night and they are GREAT!!
The mold lines are miniscule and there are enough extra weapons for a variety of poses.
Only one complaint though, the guy sculpted to throw the grenade....didnt use that guy in any of the squads so now ive got 2 - 10 men riflemen units and a really tooled out 5 man command team. All for only 20 bucks!!!
Ill be picking up some of the Germans and then the Russians next.
Really smashinig value!!

I was considering getting some of these, then I saw them in person... then I saw the contents of the box...
The figures are noticeably smaller than Warlords. Spindly and thin, they may be more scale accurate but they'd stand out if you mixed figures. I much prefer the "heroic" proportioned sculpts that other manufactures use.
The choices of weapons and accessories in the Wargames Factory is inadequate, again IMHO. You get 4 sprues in the Wargames Facyory box: 3x Infantry sprues and 1x weapons/accessories sprue. You end up with more Rifles than guys though you do get 5x BARs and over a dozen SMGs. My issue is that there are no Bazookas or LMGs or other support weapons. That means you are going to HAVE to mix figures with another brand if you want those in your force and as I have said, the spindly low detail Wargames Factory sculpts really stand out from other manufacturers. These repetitive and simple low detail, low relief sculpts and lack of accessories other than basic kit (rifle, backpack, shovel) on these figures also makes it harder to convert them if you wanted to make a figure stand out as an officer, medic, FAO, etc....
Cost? Yeah the Wargames Factory figures are cheaper, but you are getting what you pay for: paying less but getting noticeably poorer quality figures.

I have a box of them for my Germans, along with a 1/48 scale Tiger Tank that was cheap. So i have a 1000 point German Force for uner 40 bucks. German Tiger was a cheap 16-17 dollar one from Amazon. Figures were from Minature Market for about 15 bucks... for those who would like to play BA on the cheap where funds are hard.. although not sure if you would be able to use in a tournament (depends on how its setup and such).
I do prefer Warlord models though for Bolt Action as others have said about the heroic scaled look.. but for a secondary army to play friendly battles i choose to do the Germans cheap.

They are quite nice models, like their German figures.
I also like the Warlord style, as others have commented and since they started me off with a free starter set as part of the Sarge program, I want to keep supporting them. Still, if you're on a budget these are not bad figures for a low price.
Then again, most historical games are relatively cheap, especially with the mix of manufacturers out there.
