Warning From Magnus? Not Listening!

I'm starting up an Alpha Legion army and wondered if anyone had ideas for "loyalist" marks of chaos. By that I mean things like those massive Horus heresy era shields to represent the mark of Nurgle. Any ideas?

Combat drugs=Khorne or Slaanesh
No one uses mark of tzeentch

Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. For mark of Tzeentch I was think an equivalent of an iron halo. Combat drugs is a good idea, but how would I model that?

Try modelling some syringes instead of grenades.
As for the mark of khorne. Dirty great axes and chainswords are the way to go.

Probably vials, pouches that glow, stuff off the medic SM torso for combat drugs.
Tzeentch could be various rosaries or halos as suggested.
Nurgle could be bionics as suggested
Korn?...... probably those chain axes off forgeworld. or more emphasis on close combat weapons like holding a lot of knives?

What about krak grenades or melta bombs painted with liquid in? Thank's for the ideas! More are welcome - keep them coming

There are some Blood Angels bits that are just vials.

The Dark Eldar Talos has lots of vials and various torture bits.
Overly pretty armour may also work for Slaanesh.
Tzeentch, camo, for sneaking and scheming.

I like the idea of defaced imperium symbols rather than actual chaos symbols for Alpha Legion. Helps keep their ambiguity.

I have an Iron Warriors army that I've been revamping. They're a bit more pureblooded than the Honsou Iron Warriors. I've been using lots of bionics and shields to represent plague marines and Marks of Nurgle. There are a lot of bionic bits out there. Bionics and shields make great fluff for feel no pain in my opinion. For Mark of Khorne maybe the unit could be all bloodied up with gore on their bases and their power armor smeared with blood. Chain axes are a good marker as well, but blood for the Blood God and all that jazz. I really like the vial of craziness for the Mark of Slaanesh, or they could just be painted rather garishly, although that doesn't seem to be the Alpha Legion's way of business. Mark of Tzeentch could be something like a forcefield generator or a defaced Iron Halo, but I've never used MOT.

Just call them blessings of the Emporer. And then Use symbols like aquilla's and lightning bolts. for Nurgle use the Mechanicum (represent it with cogs, cuase the flesh is weak and all). Tzeench? Hrmm.... maybe something to represnt knowledge like books or scrolls.

I've always thought the GK Teleporter backpacks looked like they could be personal ff generators for mot. I've toyed around with this kind of idea for a while.

Yeah I was thinking that, however I don't think I'd use mot enough...

Sure. I'll probably use a mix of loyalist parts spread throughout my squads. If anyone has other ideas I'm all ears
