So i'm re-reading the rulebook FAQ and i see that special rules are not allowed to modify the BS1 of snap shots.

So then markerlights can't be used to grant higher accuracy to units during Overwatch, or to shoot at Flyers??

Let's say a unit shoots markerlights at a flyer gets 2 hits, then another unit without skyfire aswell shoots said flyer using the 2 markerlights to be able to hit on 4s. This is illegal?

or if with the ever handy support fire rule, someone tries to assault my unit of firewarriors that just happen to be within 6" of a 10 man pathfinder unit that shoots first, lands 3 marker lights on the charging unit, allowing me to unload overwatch at BS4 and safeguard against the assault. That's illegal too?
