I was wondering if anyone has tried using just the resin kits on regular space marine bike frames.

Looking at forgeworld I can see they fit them on the scout bike frames, but I was wondering if anyone has tried to put them on the regular frames. Do they fit on there or is some serious converting you need to do to fit them on.

Thanks!

I just found them online for cheap. I will let you know if I can make them fit on the regular bikes somehow. Just from looking, I can tell it'll be a bit of work.

That would be much appreciated. I'm having a hell of a time finding scout bike frames and was hoping to fill that gap with regular ones, but your right, it looks like some work.

They're sculpted around the Scout Bike and thus it will take some major work to fit them onto a regular Space Marine Bike.

Crap. Well, I guess I'll buy a Scout bike as well. I'm planning on converting up a Moondrakkan from the legion bikes, but I had to buy a whole squadron. Oh well, I'm sure someone will take them off my hands....

Whew, thanks for this thread....I was about to buy some of the kits online, didn't know you needed the scout bike.

Stupid me was cheap and ordered 20 scout biker bodies from the Warstore, should have just ordered the whole kit....If only I could look into the future!!!!

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase.

Holy cow, how did I not notice they were a hybrid kit? I feel pretty blonde right now.

Wait a second. They're not sold as conversion kits. How do you NOT have the scout bikes? o.O

There are some bits vendors who break down forgeworld kits and part them out. It's not inconceivable that he may have acquired the resin parts from one of them.

That's correct, I have the resin parts, just need the scout bike frames at this point.
