Thank you,

On the table so far so good

I have played against Sisters of battle, Salamanders, Krieg and Chaos SM. Out of those I have won most games if not they are very close.

It is far from an instant win army but it is fun to play.

Also I haven't faced heldrakes yet which is what really scares me.

Awesome army. Great use of source lighting especially on the whirlwind you did up. I love how bright the LEDs on the Land Raider lights are, it almost looks painted as well. Overall because of that airbrush the army looks so clean. Great work!

As before, you have a great army. Very well painted, great work!

We discussed earlier your bases - I still like them and am using them myself. My painting is not nearly as crisp as your though, very nice work.

Thanks for the compliments its always nice to hear good feedback.

I have some older pictures of the librarian I don't think much has changed since these except the headlight.

Forgot to ask - would you be willing to share the colors you used for the headlight osl? I really like it and I may just give it a shot on my ravenwing bikers.

Secondly - I've been considering doing that same conversion with the librarian biker. Any tips/ tricks on that one?

Again, your stuff looks awesome. Great work.

@ Millicant

Yeah the colors for the lighting are simple its Vallejo Model Air Light Blue sprayed in the light pattern and then white sprayed on top of it leaving some of of the blue still showing.

The Librarian is made from the sergeant ravenwing bike, the librarian from dark vengeance box set and one of the other biker arms/handle bars. Just chop the librarian in half and green stuff him onto the bike.

Wow, that is one very pretty army.

I think the OSL on the front lights of all the bikes makes it somehow...

Neat thanks!

Just to be sure, that's 71.089 "Light Sea Blue," yes?

Any issues with the chopping/greenstuffing of the librarian? A while back I just sat and looked at the models and sort of wondered how it would work... My greenstuffing skills are non-existant.

Yup that's the blue.

I cut him with some clippers a little bit below his belt and then used an xacto knife to cut off all excess plastic below belt line leaving his book on one side to hide joining him to the bike.

The greenstuffing doesn't have to be perfect just try to make it flow like the rest of his robes.

Also as you are shaving off plastic below his belt continue to test fit him on the bike till it looks right.

Incredible! There are a lot of them, they're painted spectacularly, and make a unique army that is rarely seen! You should be proud!

But actually paint that Fortress of Redemption. You've just gone over it with a spray gun, that's no way to field that army! You've come this far, you should totally detail it. At least clean up the tower.

@quarterdime

Thanks.

Haha you noticed that, I was thinking that as I was posting these pictures. It will get a proper paint job soon.

@Larotonda1984

Lol yeah, to be honest it took like two whole days to paint. Nothing better to do when the government is shutdown though.

Awesome army! Do you use the Fortress of Redemption in your list as well? I have been airbrushing one and I am trying to decide whether I should take it for a spin.

@ M4cr0Dutch

Thank you, I don't use the fortress with my Ravenwing but I might once I finish more of my green guys. It was just in the picture for aesthetic reasons.

I have played it in a game as dilapidated and found it was wrecked pretty easy and it can really do some damage to whoever is occupying it.
