Alright guys I am trying to incorporate some new bikes and Predators I picked up in a trade and came up with this Iron Hands list. Please let me know what you think.
HQ:
Chapter Master w/ Artificer Armor, Bike, Shield Eternal, Thunder Hammer
Troops:
8x Bikes w/ Multi-Melta Attack Bike, 2x Plasma Guns (will combat squad)
5x Bikes w/ 2x Flamers
5x Tac Marines w/ Melta Gun, Melta Bomb, Drop Pod
5x Tac Marines w/ Melta Gun, Melta Bomb, Drop Pod
Elite:
Ironclad Dread w/ Melta/Heavy Flamer, Drop Pod
Ironclad Dread w/ Melta/Heavy Flamer, Drop Pod
Ironclad Dread w/ Melta/Heavy Flamer, Drop Pod
Heavy Support:
Predator w/ Heavy Bolter Sponsons
Predator w/ Lascannon Sponsons
Predator w/ Lascannon Sponsons, TL-Lascannon
The idea is to drop the Dreads on turn 1 and support them with the Bikes and the Predators. The Tac Squads stay in reserves and try to claim objectives later in the game. With 6 AV13 vehicles and a nasty HQ with "it will not die" and the higher toughness bikes with FNP 6+ I am thinking it should be a tough list.
Sure it's AA light, but if I can own the ground game then my opponent can only do so much from the air.
