As always, A++ for the bat rep.

Boosting the Farseer lost you the game there though. Assaulting the scouts mid field would have at least kept them off the objective, and denied him Slay the warlord. After that, just ignore the storm raven and kill the scouts that earned line breaker and the game is yours.

Minor points, easily picked up on after the fact. Doesn't take away from a great report, featuring a beautiful army. Let the haters hate about WS spam. It's not our fault GW made the one semi competitive 4th ED build into the monster it is in 6th.

It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.

Great batrep. These are the kind of games I enjoy spending the time to watch and keep me coming back.

I am pretty surprised with the outcome, not to be an "armchair general" but being more aggresive might have worked out better for ya. Great report and a even better close game!

Overall great report. As mentioned, the loss of the Farseer was a huge swing in point (-3 for contesting central objective, -1 Slay the Warlord): with a final score of 7-11, it was fairly significant. However, that is me with 20/20 hindsight.

Armywise: A few things of note when playing the Eldar:
-With so many vehicles, you really need to look into Ghostwalk Matrix. That 10 point piece of kit allows a tank to ignore dangerous terrain tests This is huge when running 8-10 tanks. Over the course of a game, it is not uncommon to fail a few dangerous terrain tests.
-Skyfire. Since you have a unit not inside a tank, why not get something like an ADL with Icarus? The Skyfire/Interceptor can be quite beneficial, especially for 85 points.
-ADL. On a board with fairly minimal terrain, the ADL could further support your more fragile infantry once they are out of their transport.
-Overall, I think you were a bit too hesitant and he cornered you fairly quickly. This ultimatley led to you having issues going after other objectives and linebreaker (using a lone Farseer was very risky). Skirt the edges of the board to avoid him getting rear shots on your vehicles, but try to push forward. With what he could throw forward, you had enough firepower to get rid of it even at range. I believe you had the superior list in this matchup, but your opponent pressured you and contained your movement, which is one of the Eldar army's biggest assets.

Again, great report and thanks for sharing; enjoyable to watch.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Always good reports but I would love to see the list type out.

How did the centurions arrive that deep instantly?
Did you go 36 with the flyer transport and unass them?

The homing beacon: I thought it only worked having already been on the table and could not be used the same turn as it arrived onto the table.

Unless it is worded differently in the new codex you are correct.

..in 5th once had a SM opponent on first turn move 18", disembark a squad, throw out a homer, DS in a TH/SS termies and assault my land speeder squadron with them. I "suspected" it all was quite illegal, but he insisted that is what it said in the codex. I let it by as the termies were effectually out of the game with that move.
