Ok so I've got a chaos marine army at home and I'm just going to play with some friends on the weekend and so I've just got a basic outline of the army list I'll be using. 2k army somewhat.

Hq
Chaos lord with some cheep upgrades he's just here for a hq.

Troops
2 maybe 3 10 man squads of chaos marine in a rhino.

Fast attack
3x heldrakes with balflamers

Heavy support
3 forge fiends each with one electoplasma cannon and 2 hades auto cannons.

Tactics

My chaos marines in rhinos move up to capture objectives while my forgefiends slowly move up and take shots at any units that jest to close to my marines and hopefully protect them then I'll be having my heldrakes fly around and try to take out as many troops choices as possible and try to destroy light vehicles like transports.

You are a cruel cruel man playing so many heldrakes with your friends. I like it. If you're not using the Lord to unlock troops make him a naked sorcerer- you at least get a psychic power for that 60 points.

Always want lots of troop choices.

I could add a cutlets squad with the extra points left and I'll just replace The Lord with a sorcerer

For dirty pool I suggest you take the MOS on the lord to unlock noise marines
Unbreakable, relatively cheap, upgradeable to the best troop gun in the game, love chilling in rhinos jamming to tunes until it is blown up...with what you have, I'd go CC noise boys and forego the noise toys, but potentially throw the icon of excess on them

The models are interchangeable with CSMs as well

That actually sounds pretty good might do that I'm not usually a fan of slaanash I'm more of a nurgle guy but noise boys are pretty good in this sense. Thanks.

I'd dump one drake for 5 x Spawn w/ MoN. 15 T6 wounds that can charge T2 is wicked. For the math hammer, that's 135 BS4 S4 bolter shots w/ No cover to kill the unit. Plus your opponent has to deal with it. If they don't = they only make that mistake once!
