Ideas for the last 15 points? (i could drop the 4 "extra" rough riders to increase the spare points to 65 and throw marbo in)
I have played a few practice games with this and a variant (drops the RR's and throws in a vendetta with a flame wielding veteran squad)
Over all this performs better than my vendetta list so far, concentrating on winning the ground war before fliers enter. However I have two major weak points
~ only 4 troops. For most armies, this isn't bad, but guard troops are fragile and I am worried about my low number of troops for objective heavy games
~ anti-flier. Right now I'm counting on being able to remove enough ground threats to not mind snapping tons of shots at fliers, relying on the OotF to force them to trickle on and use high strength rather than quantity to down or at least force a flyer to jinx
~ The second CCS its set up to increase durability, having seen too many ignore cover weapons take down my single CCS in one round of fire turn one. Placing them in a Chimera was an alternative option, but for the same cost I may as well double my orders and throw out another MoO and Las Round a turn.
Advice? Ideas? Experiences?

If you stick the LR behind the ADL you may find the sponsons and hull mounted lascannon useless. I played in a game and my opponent called into question whether the 'lower' mounted weapons cleared the ADL thus having line of sight to my target. As it turns out I didn't due to the ADL which meant all those points on the sponsons and lascannon could have gone else where. I like the colossus though. I've run two in a list before as a squadron - lots of cheesy fun!

Even if only a single squad the rough riders will end up a part of the army. With two meltas at 75 points you could do worse. They have a decent threat range with the 12in move, throw on the MB and they can usually take down a Russ/equivalent. After all, everyone knows they're pretty bad, so a lot of people seem to ignore them for other targets.
I'll keep the ADL and sponsons in mind. I have never been called out on that before, I'll have to be more careful with its deployment.
Any other suggestions out there? Is 4 troops enough for 1750? Or would dropping a RR squad, plas vets and perhaps the extra command for including a large platoon worth it? I have been rather scared of running foot guard since my normal guard lists have been blown away by all the tau I've had to face lately

I really think you should consider an infantry platoon. They're one of IG's greatest strength's. Keep the vets as your problem solvers but drop 1 or 2 to take an additional 6 scoring units. I know they aren't very useful, but that's why you have 6. Also, are fliers banned from this tournament? The Vendetta is pretty much the best flier in the game and a perfect place to sash a cheap special weapons team with 3x flamers for turn 5 objective grabbing.
Also, do you really need two CCS? I know Master of Ordinance is awesome, but I think for the points you can bring a lot more bodies elsewhere.
I'll reiterate the rough riders comment. They aren't good. At all. Nothing about them is good. I love the idea of them and I even customed up some sweet models for mine, but they just aren't practical and their points are better spent elsewhere. You've gotta come to grips that IG is not a CC army. If you want to kill something you're gonna have to shoot it, a lot.

Been thinking about how to fix the list up. Tried dropping a RR squad and boosting the other to 8.
Played a game against orks, the actually wiped a squad of nob bikers on the charge.
However, the idea of dropping 2 vets to bring a platoon or two sounds good. So how would Dakka go about it? Drop. Chimera vets for chimera PCS with meltas?
Or drop the backfield plas vets for a backfield platoon?
