So a nova power automatically targets & hits all enemy units in range. Where a nova power is range 6" assault 2d6, does that mean each unit within 6" suffers 2d6 automatic hits, or does it mean 2d6 models are hit, distributed between units? Also do you need to roll to hit?
Cheers.

The 2d6 would be the number of shots that the nova fired. Since they automatically hit, it would be the number of hits as well.

I think it was faq'd as each unit takes that many hits each.

So how is the 2d6 hits allocated if multiple units are in range?

I think so too, and I'm guessing this question is regarding sunburst. I feel it would be silly if you expended 3 warpcharges for an 18" range (last memory artefact) for having 2D6 altogether Automatically Appended Next Post: You roll 2d6 for each unit hit, all units are automatically targeted and hit

Every enemy unit within 6" takes 2d6 hits in the previous example.
