I used to be against these chapters getting rolled into Codex: Space Marines, but I really like the way they did Chapter Tactics in that book. Granted it's not the best it could have been, but I think they've got some of the right ideas down.

Here's what I'd do for Space Wolves:
-Chapter Tactics: Counter Attack USR
-Retained units: Blood Claws, Grey Hunters, Wolf Scouts, TWC, Fenrisian Wolves, special characters, unique psychic powers, access to Thunderwolf mount for Captain/Chapter Master

And Blood Angels:
-Chapter Tactics: Descent of Angels for Jump Infantry, non-vehicle units are susceptible to Red Thirst
-Retained units: Baal Predator, Death Company, special Dreadnoughts (maybe share Furioso Dread and Librarian Dread with other chapters?), special characters, Sanguinary Guard

What do other people think?

Note: I don't want to people coming in saying "I don't want my army to be rolled into the Vanilla Codex!"

Space Wolves: 3770
Orks: 3000
Chaos Daemons: 1750
Warriors of Chaos: 2000

I think what you posted pretty much shows why these books were not rolled up into the C:SM but rather are set for supplements. There are too many specific units you have listed to make it viable to put them in one book.

The reason BTs got sucked in was because they really only had the one unit that was different (The ability to have scouts in your squads). Sword Brethren are basically just Vanguard vets without the jump packs. Other then that it was just the characters.

Blood angels would also need assault marines as troops.

Yeah Dark Angels would have been a much easier roll in than either BA or SW would be
