Been toying with the idea of picking up allies for my dark angels / space marines .... imperial guard looks interesting and a full psychic choir seems cool but the models look pretty terribad. I ran across these while searching around for some alternatives

Primarius Psyker

Choir made out of a few of these .... any maybe some more variety if I can find them.

I figure the size difference shouldn't be too bad since even if they are a little smaller they are psykers ... I think the staffs and robes work well with them.

Thoughts or any other model ideas?

I do DA and guard but I use Astral Claws and FW renegades. Naturally I use the rogue psykers but I also threw in a few squats done up right. If I were you id use old invisible stalkers mods. Smaller robed figs that kinda look like watchers in the dark... or you could kit bash some from necromunda figs. Another idea is you could take the watchers in the dark figs and cut the sword out and replace it with a staff. This is your chance to make it your own.

Those reaper minis are actually slightly larger than most IG, though not enough to stand out. I use the guy with the scroll and a few others that were redone in Bones for my own renegade psykers. I ended up cutting off a few arms to replace with laspistols though, just so they wouldn't look too medievalish.

Have you tried looking through the Fantasy models? Some of them could probably pass as 40k psykers, with a little bit of kitbashing/converting.

Empire Flagellants seem to be a popular option, with kitbashing to taste.

Yeah, they're one that I like a bunch. The Overseer is a fun little conversion project too, as you can make a nice little character figure to watch over them and make sure they don't explode.
