Rogue Trader. It's a general term used to refer to 40k universe miniatures introduced before 2nd edition 40k. (1993 and earlier).

It's a bit of a misnomer becuase some RT models before 93 might have actually been produced beyond 93, and there are a few sci-fi models in a 40k style that pre-date the 1987 introduction of the "Rogue Trader" rulebook.

Still, it's a useful term for describing an era of 40k miniatures that have a fairly unique style.
