Hi, sorry if this is the wrong board to post in, but I thought it best fitted.

I'm much more into the painting and modelling side of the hobby. There are plenty of places to look at the GW range online (do they still print catalogues? I've got some well thumbed copies I bought about ten years ago!).
However - they're always painted models. Sure they look a lot cooler, and sometimes they have a picture of the sprues next to them - but I know there are some armies that I am unjustifiably biased against the look of their models due to the paint schemes. I'd love to be able to look at a catalogue of unpainted models so I could get a feel for what I could do for conversions, and think about paint schemes with an open mind rather than having the official scheme 'coloring' my perception.

I'm keen of photos of the assembled but unpained models, not just the sprues.

Does anyone know of any websites that have an extensive catalogue like this? Thanks in advance!

A pdf catalogue like the print ones they used to do (with painted models) would also be great for helping me get my friends into the hobby. The latest one I can find online is from 2009, on the GW direct services website.

I don't think they've done a hard copy catalogue for about 10 years now. It kind of died around the same time as mail order; remember the mail order trolls? Their bridge got demolished I think.

They look great! I don't remember them, but I just searched them.
I only bought catalouges in 2002/3. I remember one coming out in 2004, but I think you're probably right about there not being one for nearly a decade. I've been out of the hobby for 8 years so I've missed a few things!

I've still got the 95/96 and 97 catalogs I think, huge tomes of knowledge!
