Gorten's gun is freakin lethal and his feat makes it so much easier to land that double barrel shot on warcasters. That was cool seeing the super fast circle army vs the super slow highborn dwarf army.

I love me some Gorten. Was going to be my intro faction before I learned Cyriss was a thing. His actual threat range is just so incredibly much more than it seems thanks to that ridiculous feat.

Keep it up, I'm not sure that playing 50 pt games when you're new to the rules is completely sane, but there you go. Seems to be working for you.

Also some scenarios might be cool in the future. I'm no expert but I believe they add a ton of depth to the game and make it more interesting.

Hey guys thank for the replies! I've actually been playing the game for about 5 months now... Maybe 6. I wouldn't say I'm super new, but I'm definitely still learning. I started playing scenarios about a month ago and I completely agree with you about the depth. It also makes the fame much more enjoyable. I've only posted a couple assassination bat reps because both Alex and I were testing out our lists. Be sure to check back in the future and I will def be posting a ton of scenario games.

I think I would look into adding a little diversity to your highborn dwarf centric list. You can add rupert corvalo to give your forgeguard toughness/fearless/pathfinder/def etc. Harlan versh can add some much needed range support that your list seems to be lacking. Also - make use of your access to taking a unit of Arcane tempest gun mages and their UA. The officer lets them ignore stealth amongst other things. The accurate shooting with long range is so helpful and they can shoot through your walls of forgeguard, plus, they provide a powerful AOE that would have helped to clear those druids or push the stalkers out of position. Plus, they have high defense and gorten makes them immune to blasts so they arent as vulnerable with their low ARM.
