I just emailed Games Workshop some questions for the next FAQ. I think these questions are EXTREMELY important while also being extremely confusing. Since they have an impact on the core of the hobby, modeling and list building, these questions need to be answered as soon as possible. I believe we will have better luck seeing these questions answered if we all send in the exact same questions. The more who send in the questions the greater the chance the answer will come sooner rather than later.

Please copy and past these questions and send them to Gamefaqs@gwplc.com

The Wargerar List sections of the new codices use the phrase "A model can replace one weapon with one of the following." Does this mean a model must replace one weapon for each of the fallowing, or does it mean that a model may only ever replace one weapon? For example can a Space Marine Chapter Master replace his chainsword with The Burning Blade and his bolt pistol with The Primarch's Wrath?

Can you take the options for a unit in any order you would like, or are you restricted to the order presented in the codex? For Example can a Space Marine Veteran in a Command Squad replace his chainsword with a power axe and then be upgraded to an Apothecary?

When you upgrade a model from one profile to another in the same unit does that model retain any optional equipment you may have given it? For example if a Space Marine Space Marine Veteran in a Command Squad takes a Company Standard and then is upgraded to a Champion will the model be a Champion with a Company Standard?

No need to email GW!

1) One weapon is replaced. So not two weapons or all weapons. Just the one.

2) Apothecaries can't have the extra weapons options as they're not Veterans, they're Apothecaries!

3) A Champion can't have a Company Standard as only Veterans can have Company Standards. And Champions aren't Veterans, they're Champions.
