Sorry to ask this, but how do you apply the armageddon dust paint? Drybrush or just straight appliance? Thanks

Its an acrylic texture medium with paint added.

Apply it straight where texture is desired.

When it runs out... dont buy another pot from GW, go to an art store and browse for acrylic texture gels/mediums. they come in a wide range of textures and in decent quantities, mix these with colours for coloured texture, or paint over it. Or both.

Here Liquitex ones are £8.81 for 247ml bottle (3.57pence per ml), vs GW's £2.30 for 12ml (19.17 pence per ml)
Thats a 536.8% difference in value for money for what is genuinly the same thing without a colour added - which is better as your no longer limited to just the one

Ok thanks, and I'll be sure to check out some cheaper alternatives.

Liquitex isnt the cheapest brand of them either lol, Windsor and Newton Galeria ones are cheaper;
£6.59 for 250ml = 2.64pence per ml (that makes GW's stuff 726% the price.

I've got a bottle of W&N Galeria Mineral Texture Gel here, that I use in conjucntion with smashed bits of slate, sand and bits from the bits box to make my bases with. Applied in multiple thin layers works well, if you apply it thick and pasty it takes quite a while to dry in the middle and will feel kind of spongey for a while.
