The plastic Raptors and Ork jump units come on that silly has bitn to look dynamic and in flight.

SM Assault marines don't.

Would you consider it Modelling For Advantage to remodel them into more normal feet of base positions?

What if you were using the Regular SM codex rules?

Not at all. Like seriously, I wish I could state how much of a non-issue it would be for me through some obvious but belabored metaphor, but it's just not coming to me. Lowering jump pack dudes down by like 5mm wouldn't affect the game in any noticeable way. Even still, older Raptors and Stormboyz came with their boots on the ground. They were shorter models anyway back then, so you'd still be taller than the old ones. It's only modeling for advantage if you're modeling the dudes lying down or something bonkers like that.
