Hello. i have had the idea of making a warhammer 40 imperial guard army with german panzers and maybe russian tanks as well. basically think tiger tanks, panthers and that, with additional guns, side sponsons and extra stuff. have any of you tried this?

Chimeras would make a good base as they have a closer profile to the earlier tanks like the pzii and pziii.
