Hi guys, I just wanted to get some opinions on this.

What are your thoughts if I used a 40mm base for a rune priest instead of a 25mm one it comes with. It's only really for aesthetic reasons, I want to just build a little diorama base, the 40mm gives much more room plus it helps to make my HQ stand out abit instead of just blending in with the rest of the army. How would you guys feel about playing again this? Could it cause problems?

I'd say it'd be fine, I base all my HQs on 40mm bases for the same reason. There are a few areas where it could get you a tiny advantage/disadvantage, but not enough for people to worry about if you're just playing casually. In a tourney, though, I'd advise using the 25mm base.

Is your rune priest in power armour or terminator armour, if it's terminator then no issue at all.

It's in power armor. This is the model so everyone knows what I'm talking about lol. I wanted to do thunderbolts striking the ground.

You could put ti on a plinth so you can have a 25mm base for games.
