I like the design of the buildings, but the price for the full set carries a bit of "sticker shock" with it. Comparatively speaking, how much will $325 get you in MicroArts terrain, Warmill terrain, or CNC terrain?

"You listen to me. While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is that I am a naysayer and hatchetman in the fight against violence. I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King. My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you Sheriff Truman." - Twin Peaks

That would probably get you 10 single buildings from each of those companies, so, considering the size and complexity of the three big buildings in that set I'd say that it's competitive.
It's hard to compare detail and quality unfortunately. MicroArts and Warmill blow their competitors away in terms of showpiece paintjobs so it can be very difficult to a good read on servicably painted product.

Based on my backing of Impudent Mortal's last KS I'd say that I'd expect the quality to be high and the service and communication to be excellent.

Thats actually not a bad price at all.

The Holographic display is really what did it for me.

Ill be selling some of my custom terrain to get some of this stuff...

Ya, There's a lot in this I'd love to get, the Holographic display being the main one.

I backed Walt's last kickstarter for some Warmachine terrain and it went ridiculously smooth, even with a minor setback that got me my things a week late, not 7 months late and counting (relic knights I'm looking at you)

Unfortunately I can't back this due to all my funds being tied up in Journey: Wrath of demons, but I wish him all the best with this, his terrain is amazing.

An interesting kickstarter. I'll keep my eye on this.

Looking for the Empire spearmen from the Warhammer sixth edition box set (empire vs orcs) Must be unpainted and in good condition. Also looking for MIB Empire State Troops boxes.

Looking for Battle for Macragge and Black Reach Tactical squads, unpainted and unassembled.

Spiffy designs. Something tells me this is one of those Kickstarters that are actually just store fronts. He has the designs, he has the laser. There's no reason to ask for money in advance.

You get a LOT more. That was part of the strategy behind this project. Be able to get an entire table worth of terrain that would meet the density requirements for Infinity, look good, and be less $$ than what's out there.

Yeah the paint jobs on the MicroArts and Warmill stuff is top notch no doubt about it, and we all know how far a good paint job can go I actually painted this stuff myself with a regular brush... took forever... I need to learn how to use an airbrush, or get someone who know what they are doing to do it next time

Thanks! But yeah we have the bugs worked out for sure, and to top it off I'm the kind of person who can't let things sit unfinished so I tend to have the laser running as much as I can.

Not quite sure what you mean by "store fronts". But the reason for asking for the $ up front is because to keep the prices in line the material needs to be bought in bulk and / or has minimum order amounts, and the $3,000 covers that.

$3000 would buy something like 5000 square feet of MDF at retail. What are you building, a life scale board?

For what ever reason only a couple (literary) wood mills make 1/8 MDF here in the US, and darn near no one stocks it. So in order to get any we have to order a full stack of it. The good news is that it gives us plenty of materiel to work with, but when we run out (like we are just about to do) restocking is expensive.
